Astrobe for RISC5 is a free unlimited Windows version of the Astrobe IDE that developers can use to edit and compile, embedded real-time Oberon applications. These can then be uploaded and executed on an FPGA RISC5 development system. The compiled applications produced by Astrobe can be executed on a minimal embedded version of the Project Oberon OS.

This latest version runs Embedded Project Oberon at 50MHz (i.e. twice the Project Oberon workstation clock speed) on Digilent's Artix-7 35T Arty and the
Cmod A7-35T board development boards without requiring any external RAM.

Other new features included since the Dec 2015 Astrobe / Arty release are:

* Supports the latest (March 2016) revision of the Oberon Language including numeric CASE statements.
* Uses the latest Project Oberon source code
* Updated Verilog code includes support for the Arty buttons and switches
* Uses the Opus-2 MicroSD card adapter which was designed specifically for use with Project Oberon.
