ATLANTIC CITY — A sound no one has heard in decades will reverberate Friday afternoon inside the main arena at Boardwalk Hall.
The Midmer-Losh organ’s left-stage chamber will be operational for the first time in nearly 40 years, operating at close to 30 percent capacity. Pipe organ enthusiasts will get to hear the new sound during a free noon concert. The full article is here.
What does this have to do with Astrobe?
Astrobe for Cortex-M3 has been used on this project to program an Opus-Two LPC1768 to run a 7 manual console, with 7 Opus-Two PIC controllers to read things from a sub-basement and console, and to play pipes in the chambers.
There is also a CBS News item from Thursday and a link to the Friday afternoon performance on Facebook.
